Rain Sounds Online

This player uses a 30-second excerpt from “Rain and storm” by Joseph SARDIN. The excerpt repeats while you listen. It is a field recording, so its texture varies with the rain.

Start with rain, then make it yours

Press Play and adjust Volume just below it. Choose a sleep timer if you want the sound to fade out and stop. For a reading break or some background while you work, try rain on its own first.

Use “Add more sounds in the mixer” to take this rain setting into the full mixer. There you can add fireplace, forest or thunder sounds and balance each one separately. The mixer opens paused.

What happens when I leave?

Leaving this page stops playback. A fresh visit starts with rain selected and stays silent until you press Play. Your player volume is remembered in this browser; your last full mixer configuration stays saved separately.

Can I leave the timer running?

The countdown starts when the sound begins. Pausing keeps the same end time. A locked screen or background browser may interrupt audio, so uninterrupted playback depends on your device.
